We do not fight the location. Heat, wind, dust and distance are the brief, not the obstacle — the site decides where the system points and when the night starts.

Sound Dunes Production puts sound systems in places that were not built for them.

Who we are
A small production crew that would rather drive four hours into nothing than book another room with a low ceiling and a drinks minimum.
We handle the parts nobody sees: the permits, the generators, the water, the cable runs across open ground, the point at 3am when something breaks and it has to be fixed with what is in the truck. What you see is the part we get to build once the rest is handled.

What we produce
Multi-day desert festivals and open-air events built around a properly tuned system and a room-sized idea. Small enough that the crowd is a crowd and not an audience. Long enough that the night gets a chance to become its own thing.

Philosophy
How we think about it
Sound first, everything else after
The budget goes into the rig before it goes into anything you can photograph. Open air is unforgiving; a system that gets away with it indoors does not get away with it out here.
Capacity is a decision
We cap on the site, not on demand. Selling more tickets than a place can hold is how a good event turns into a bad one.
Hand the ground back
We get to use these places because we leave them clean. That is the whole arrangement, and it is not negotiable.
